The Science

L-Arginine, Nitric Oxide & ARGI+
ARGI+ contains L-Arginine, an amino acid which is manufactured in the human body although for a variety of reasons, including diet, not everyone will create enough for their needs. One of the key things L-Arginine is needed for is the creation of Nitric Oxide (considered to be the “Miracle Molecule”) and in turn the main job of Nitric Oxide is to signal the blood vessels to relax and expand. It is this signalling discovery that led to the award of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1998.

Nitric Oxide has been shown to help improve overall circulation, reduce blood pressure, increase mental acuity, increase muscle growth and improve endurance. The ‘must see’ video below provides key information about L-Arginine supplementation, Nitric Oxide and the relationship to ARGI+.

Nobel Prize Winning Research
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1998 was awarded jointly to Robert F. Furchgott, Louis J. Ignarro and Ferid Murad “for their discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system”.
